Start of the Year!

I watched an anime and I wanna talk about it ig(also maybe some other stuff later on but I'll get to it). The show is called Hitoribocchi No Marumaru Seikatsu

I don't know how to describe it other than: It's slightly absurd enough for me to laugh at some of the jokes; I didn't have much expectation going into it other than the show is considered "the other Bocchi show" according to some comment on Reddit. Still, it's very fun if you like the whole CGDCT genre.
Ngl, I don't even like it cuz of the genre, I just thought the show overall was actually funny despite the repitive and blatant/obvious jokes in pasted everywhere.(Or maybe my humor is just really dumb :P)
For instance, the name of all the characters represent what their personality is pretty much:
  • "Hitori Bocchi": term in Japanese meaning forever alone - MC is awkward, shy and lonely; so that's literally her first and last name
  • "Sotoka Rakita": "Soto" means outside/foreign, "kara" means from, and "kita" means here. And the character has blond hair, sometimes speaks English and, well, she's a foreigner-
  • "Ojousa Mayo": people say "Ojousama" to refer to a rich girl and "yo" at the end of a sentence exclaim a new info. Name roughly translates to "I'm a rich girl y'know".
    • I hate the fact that I had to explain all that when every Japanese person immediately understands wtf those pun names mean.
